Another week, another give away. We're just getting started, folks.
This week, I'll be giving away a copy of Anne Jackson's Permission to Speak Freely: Essays and Art on Fear, Confession, and Grace. I reviewed this book back in September. Jackson writes with clarity and honesty, and this book is filled with some pretty cool visual imagery.
To enter for a chance to win this book, please answer the following in the comments:
Who is the one person in your life who has given you permission to speak your mind without reservation, and who would love and accept you no matter what it was that you had to say? How did they show you they loved you no matter what?
If you don't want to answer the question, mention me on Twitter (@bsimpson) with a link to this post, letting others know about the give away.
I'll choose a winner randomly on Friday, let that person know by email, and send out the book first thing next week.

Deanna S - She just listens intently. She pays attention. She remembers the details. She cares. She follows through. She loves as Christ loves us.
My husband. He listens to me at my best and my worst, puts up with me and my quirks, and listens, no matter what. He has stuck with me through not only good times, but through dark and difficult ones as well.
Hey friends:
I assigned the two of you and the others who tweeted the link a number, and used a random number generator to select a winner. Chris B., who mentioned the give away, was the winner. I've contacted him for an address, and if I hear back within a few days, he'll be this week's winner.
Another give away starts tomorrow. Check back!
